Poetry Month is upon us. For 2019 Edmonton Poetry Festival I’m honoured to be performing at 3 events, sharing the stage with some very fine wordsmiths. If you’re in Edmonton, come on out (I can’t promise I won’t ask you to sing along) –
CKUA Studios on the 23rd, 6 PM,
CBC Centre Stage at Noon on the 25th, and
MacEwan University at 8 PM on the 24th.
Speaking of MacEwan, I’m thrilled to be taking up the chair as their Writer-in-Residence this fall.
Finally, this year, as for the past few, I’m playing 30/30 – write 30 poems in 30 days – a writing workout for which I thank Robert Okaji for introducing me to it, through reading his 30/30 work with Tupelo Press; and Trudy Greinauer for running with the idea on behalf of Stroll of Poets Society. I’ll share some poems here, after mid-month.
Keep the Flame.

I love Robert’s work, but 30/30…yikes! I’m not ready for that. Good luck to you, though!
