part of the larger song
in accordance to the ongoing.

thus if i give you harebells
let them signify
courage and the honour of thieves
stealing room in which to
raise food only for bees.

now pine blossom stands
for barefaced self-confidence
needing no showy petals
to seed her mighty tribe of sons.

tiger lily for discipline
her craft perfected
in time alone

rhubarb for timing
spider plant for glory

and dandelion
for love, queen
of poets ruled by none
save life itself and the One.
